The Florida Blue Patient Access API is conformant to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Interoperability and Patient Access Final Rule (CMS-9115-F). Third-party applications may retrieve enrollee information, if Florida Blue maintains such data, as well as any enrollee data Florida Blue is authorized to retrieve and make available from enrollee's previous payer(s) subject to both historical data availability and the presence of a live payer-to-payer connection, at the direction of the enrollee or enrollee's personal representative. The Florida Blue Pharmacy API is conformant to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Interoperability and Patient Access Final Rule (CMS-9115-F). Third-party applications can retrieve enrollee information, if Florida Blue maintains such data, at the direction of the enrollee or enrollee's personal representative. This Pharmacy API enables enrollees or an enrollee's personal representative to access their health data through authentication for drug formulary information covered by their Florida Blue health plan conformant with CMS requirements.
